Low pressure Orange screen

I have about 700 miles on my truck and this is like the 3rd time I've seen this screen come on as soon as I turn the key forward and before it cranks, then it goes away. Never came on while driving. Just for that brief second, If I wasnt; looking for the name plate to hit the dirt, I probably wouldn't have noticed it.

Anyone else ahve this issue?

Also have the tranny slip thing on occassion.

Shane

Yes, I'm hoping the new flash will resolve this message light, too.
It is random and I've noticed it once this week so far.

Mine shows up when I turn the key on and mess with the SYNC stuff without starting the engine. It's supposed to be normal if the ignition is on for a little bit without the engine running.

Makes sense to me. If the key is on and the engine is not running the oil pressure will be low.

I think if you guys just turn the ignition to the on position and dont start the truck you will see the low oil pressure screen you are talking about. It happens everytime you turn the truck on but dont start it so there is nothing wrong.

It doesn't happen every time for my truck. My screen is only a blue/green color so the picture isn't orange.
Each time I wait for the 4x2 message to clear and my screen goes to whatever option I have activated, such as the avg mpg then I start the engine.
I have just been ignoring it and starting anyways. I have the basic message center.
It doesn't affect anything because I assume the same thing; the engine is off the oil pressure will be low. But when it doesn't appear each time, then why appear at all is the question?
When it does appear, it appears after the 4x2 msg and stays on the screen until I either start the engine or turn the key off and start over.

Sorry I should have been more clear, my truck (King Ranch) has the info center and it shows up there everytime I turn the key on after it goes thru the intro (which is way cool so see, still cant get enough of that).

If it's any consolation, my explorer with the message center does the same thing, display's low oil pressure after a few seconds if the motor isn't running, When that happens I also get Check Charging System while cranking it, and both disappear when it's running. Mine does it every time though if I turn the key on without starting for just a few seconds
