Does any company Repop. West coast to match a 1972 F250 rangers mirrors? The mirrors on my truck could be fixed with some work but if they are repoped I rather get a set to replace them.
I'm talking about the whole frame work and mirror.

There are two types of Western Mirrors, the type without the 3rd steadyrest arm are known as Western Juniors.
Only the mirror heads are the same. Since these mirrors were also sold by Sears, JC Whitney, Western Auto and etc., the way to verify if the mirrors are genuine Ford is to look at the back of the mirror head.
It's flat, has three vertical embossed lines, with the middle line longer than the other two.
AFAIK, no one is reproducing the complete mirrors or the brackets. I've seen the mirror heads in a repro parts catalog, I'll have to look and see who's catalog it is.
It might be possible to find some of these mirror parts NOS, but first...I need to know which type your truck has.
I took mine off and replaced them with the smaller mirrors when i repainted. Im not sorry.. i never towed anything anyway, and the west coast mirrors were hard to see around at stop signs.
Those puppies are stainless steel, you can clean them up with a lot of elbow grease etc. (assuming they are not beat to heck etc...). No one that I know of is reproducing them like Bill mentioned earlier. I would keep them.
#1 if you replace them with a different style mirror then you are going to need to drill new holes for the new mirrors
#2. the old holes will need to be welded up and painted
#3 the western style mirrors are super cool.....wish I had a pair on my truck
Weird question here... I picked up a set at a swap meet and when I scrubbed what I thought was glass with some grey scotchbrite it scratched like hell. I took it apart and it was a chunk of .125 stainless steel plate that was mirror polished. I am assuming this is not stock?

If the mirror head does not have this feature, it's not genuine Ford.
So I have a set of these that I pulled off the 71 F250 camper special. My daughter doesn't want them back on. What are these puppies worth/go for?
Yes they are original and in excellant condition.
I also think I have a set of these, They have the three lines and they have fomoco
stamped in the bottom. the passenger side does have a scratch and the glass is broke.
I do not want to put these back on my truck.
