You guys and your snow. It's supposed to rain here later today.
Afternoon all. I thought it was neat to discover that my sister has made a donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation through NASCAR owner Michael Waltrip's site. Apparently as a result, my mother's name (my mother passed from breast cancer in '83) will be appearing on the car to run at Dallas on November 7. I'm trying to communicate with the race team to see if there's some chance I can get a photo of it. Wish me luck - lol.
So, for one weekend I guess I have to pull for a Toyota team...as it will run on Martin Truex Jr.'s #56 car that is a Toyota...

Hey Steve!
Yeah, I'm hoping it works out. I figure the worst I can be told is "no, sorry..." but it never hurts to ask.

I don't see why they couldn't even do a team picture with the name showing!

Me either...I'd settle for a snapshot of the car with the name on it even. I just sent off the email, so we'll see what happens.
