Morning Bill! I have two daily drivers right now, the 97 F-150, and the 06 F-250. Depends on my mood, and what has gas in it!

Yeah Rog that Pat. I do the swap up too, however that gets expensive to fill up an F250 and a Lexus when they are both out of gas haha.

I need to get the 97 fixed. Damn drivers side window motor crapped out, the one I just replaced! I usually drive the 97 to work, to keep the miles off of the 06. That will last until next July, when the oldest kid gets his license, and the 97!

Morning Pat and Scott. I'd run the Explorer but it's lacking plates and a valid inspection at the moment...lol. Can't complain though, went to Pittsburgh and back this week on one tank of gas in the F150 with some left over to run errands today; that was decent.

Hey Bill...

I just thought about it, I really dont have a vehicle that gets tons of gas mileage LOL.
The lexus GS400 is a V8 sedan, the F250 crew cab diesel and then the Porsche 928 S4 has the 5.0l V8 too.

the shadow has gotten the most amount of use and miles.......we put about $45 a week into it's tank, and it gets 21city 26hwy

I'll be putting less than that in my ranger (and ultimately the shadow as well seeing my wife barely drove it before my 89 died) the ranger gets
16city 20hwy

Funny thing is I think my diesel gets the best mileage LOL. It gets around 20-22 and I think the Lexus gets the same, if I keep my foot out of it.

Morning Ken, Drew. Scott, same with me, my diesel gets better mileage than any of our vehicles! I just wish diesel was as cheap as it used to be.

My Explorer - on a long highway trip - would get over 20mpg...and that's a V6 with the ControlTrac setup. I will say that the F150 is nowhere near that, but I honestly expected to have to fill up before I came back from work this week, or at least on the way home, since I have a lead foot. I'll be curious to see how well it actually did.

It's about 20 cents more for diesel than gas up here.

Good morning y'all! TGIF... the boss-man is letting us out at 3pm today so we can get an early start on our weekend of slacking.

I'm still getting 27mpg in my city/highway commuting in the Five Hundred, and it just hit 114K miles on the ticker. Wifey racked up the miles on it and gave it back to me when she got her toaster-on-wheels HHR. That one gets pretty close to 30mpg.

I get 43mpg with the motorcycle, lol.

Gas prices actually dropped around here this week to $2.37... usually they jack them up on a holiday weekend.
