Are any of you guys running HID's on ANY of your vehicles in an aftermarket application?

or at least know enough about aftermarket HID installs?

I had HIDs in Blue, but took them out and put Sylvania Silverstar bulbs in!

Howdy guys... happy September to you all... Seasonal allergies slammed me pretty good yesterday. My head felt like a water balloon so I just crashed at home all day. Today I can't stop sneazing/hacking/coughing, but have too much to do to take another sick day. Oh well, at least my coworkers will know I'm here!

The reason I asked was, you know that little hood that sits over the bulbs in some headlights inside the headlight?

My question is, does that make the HID bulbs pretty well useless, or does it work the same/better?

Comment just overheard by one of my coworker Husker fans...

"We've got to win the national championship this year since the schedule next year will be too hard"

You Husker fans crack me up...

Off to work guys.
Hope I get work today, money isn't easy to come by, and sitting on my fat bag isn't filling my wallet with the green stuff that always grows feet and runs away.
