Possible FICM Problem, Testing This week
Ok so this is what I am looking at right now..
-Start up hot and sometimes cold, is rough stumbling on it self to start
-Has a very rough idle while warming up and driving, then spontaneously has rough idle that comes and goes when engine is warm.
-Between 12-1500 rpms at 48-52 mph truck has rough shake and doesnt want to go, but if you shift truck down it will act fine.
-Batteries died about a week ago, went and replaced batteries, after trying to get other batteries to charge and tried several times to start it( I think this may have done the FICM in)
Im thinking that this is a FICM problem, Ford looked at charging system which check out fine, replaced HPOP, IPR, EGR Cooler not to long ago. I also replaced batteries as stated above, changed oil with 5w40 rotella and MC Filter, Fuel Filters were replaced about a month ago. EGR valve cleaned about a month ago. Also ICP sensor was replaced, but I just cleaned the pigtail with connector cleaner real good and plugged it back up.
Truck is 2003 F350 CC SRW 4x4, It does have a Quadzilla Quadpack on it but has a switch to have it off. Runs same on or off.
