To jack or drop..
I have a gen I that i started doin the SAS on a few years ago and never quite finished. Problem is, in the mean time i have a new 4x4 and cant decide if i still want to lift it and make it a tough toy or drop it and make it a fast toy. Really the only difference would be throwing a Mustang II or similar front end under vs. the D-30. My question what all would it take to make this thing HANDLE. Whether i got back to stock style I-beams, newer style torsion set up or a coil-over independant, which would handle the best for the least work and not break the bank? I must admit im new to the 2wd world, but i would like to have something that i can go hot rod around and take to the track once in a while. As far as weight goes, stock front end mostly with 86 HO 5.0 / AOD.
