Lowering a '76
mounting surface is flat to the bottom of the frame. That bushing is slotted and that is Your caster adjustment. You want to keep them clocked so that slot is flat.
That in mind the mount is also offset so they ended up outside of the frame rails.
What I did was swap the bushings side to side that put them right under the frame rails.
I cut the mounting out of the Crown Vic frame and used some strap iron to fill the gap.
I still need to get under there and make it a little more eye a pealing.
Notice too that the motor mount ties the top of the frame rail to the cross member on the inside.
