misfire/ spitting and sputtering problem
hi im new to owning a powerstroke i have owned a 7.3 idit before but never a powerstroke. i just bought the rig today for 2k a 1995 f-350 dualie 2wd 5sp 4dr longbed with 281k on the odometer. when i take off in 1st it starts to spit and sputter around 2-3k rpm and it also does it in 2nd but it doesnt seem to do it in 3rd 4th or 5th/od check engine light is not on but i think the bulb is out because it dosn't come on when i turn the key on...im takin it to school tomorrow (University of Northwestern Ohio) to see if there are any codes i was just wondering if anybody hasd any thoughts before hand....i post up what i got for codes tomorrow i replaced the fuel filter cause i thought that was the issue(it was black!) but it still does it any help would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. i dont know if this would affect it but the exhaust ends at the end of the down pipe it needs a new exhaust system
