header question...

do the stock shorty mustang headers have the same exit locations as the stock manifolds on the truck 302?

Short answer...no. Can you use them...yes with some exhaust mods. I am running a 1986 5.0 HO SEFI in mine with the stock headers and it works fine (2wd). If you are 4wd I think you will have issues.

Look in my Gallary.

well i'm getting ready to put an 83 non roller 302 in my 1981 F100 2wd, C6...the motor i bought came with the stock truck manifolds, so i dont have an exhaust system currently. I was afffraid the mustang headers would exit into the firewall or something, but if they'll clear everything without having to bend some funky figure eight shaped collector i might pick a set up cheap and have headers....lol
