I just installed the 3 pod glowshift diesel package in my 1997 f250 the gauges seem to work properly the exhaust temp and the tranny temp and the boost ,Just how does the boost gauge work mine stays on 0 untill i get on the throttle then it moves up then back to 0 when i let off, at 60 miles an hour it reads 0 is this correct? thanks for your time exhaust 500-600 at 60, tranny temp runs 150 at 60, boost runs 0 at 60, what are everybody gauges running
That seems right, mine runs at 0 at 60 too. 75 I run about 2-3, depending on wind. As long as you get good boost numbers when you get after it I'd say it's right.
They look like good gauges but not to be doging them I've heard bad out of them from a few ppl around here. Could have been some problems with early ones idk?
Maybe some do go over the stock one, mine didn't. I used a red paint for plastics that I found at the auto store, nothing complicated. The pyro was easyy if your good with a drill
Some of the pillar pods attach to the factory pillar but they are only large enough to cover the gauges. If you don't see a seam around the gauges it's probably a full replacement pillar.
