track bar bracket broken

Has anyone had the upper track bar bracket (attached to the frame) break?

I have been working on the front end of my F350 and trying to get the steering and such tightened up only to find the track bar bracket is broken in half and the track bar is not really attached to anything on that end. I am assuming I can just replace it with a new bracket and be good to go.

What would cause this to break? Is there anything else I should be checking out?

It took me a while, but I finally got the bracket ordered last week (thanks ED)and installed it today. What a difference having a solid track bar makes!!! Pretty easy swap. Now onto my dip stick issue, and while I was under there today I noticed my front seal is leaking Seems like every time I work on it my list of things to do gets something added to it. One of these days I will have everything taken care of on this truck!!LOL!

I have broke mine a couple times but it is an aftermarket one from superlift after the first time I broke it I got an adjustable track bar and welded the bracket back up ended up
Breaking 2 more times different spots it was kind of a crappy design got a Skyjacker bracket and it has a better design and is made with thicker metal.
