Intermittent odometer display
The informatin center goes blank intermittently. There have been other threads about this, but none have come up with an answer and I'm hoping someone has actually found a cure that doesn't entail replacing the cluster at $300.00 for a reman. This is the basic display that only shows the odometer, temperature, cardinal compass point, and then says things like low fuel and door ajar.
It is not a problem with the backlite. That works fine. The actual odometer function continues to count while it is blank. It is not a cold solder joint on the display itself.
Can I get a junk yard cluster and just plug it in?
