I will bump this to the top since I am not familiar with Autoenginuity.

If you look at the live data screen, you can select ICP pressure, ICP desired pressure, ICP volts. This is of the top of my head. I think there are total of 4 readings that you can see on there to tell what the HPOP and ICP are doing or not doing.

You also need to find something related to IPR duty cycle to monitor.

You can monitor any number of Injector Control Pressure PID's. I don't remember what they all are. You can also go into the activation screen and set the Injector Control Pressure and watch the PID change to the value you set it to. The motor will stumble when you change the IPR value, as the injector pulse width automatically adjusts to maintain idle.

You can also increase idle to do these tests at higher engine speeds.

I'm not exactly sure why you'd want to do this, except to see that the ICP sensor and IPR are working right. But is a lot of fun to mess with things and see what happens.

remove both valve covers, install the block off tools and crank the engien over while watch the icp pid. you should have 3500-4000psi.

I have no idea what the block off tools are

Is there any way to do it just using AE without going under the hood?
And if so what are the numbers I'd want to see?

I am planning on installing a new turbo and figured if I am in there I may as well change the ICP when it's easier to get to if needed. If I can't test it is it just worth the cost of doing it now anyways? My truck has 140,000 miles on it.

block off tools stop all oil flow to the injectors and aloow you to dead head the pump. you would have to remove both valve covers to install them.

perhaps if I had an Idea of what you are trying to do, what the issue with the truck is and what year it is I could offer some more help/

No issues, just thought if I was able to test the icp I could havE a better idea whether to replace it while the turbo is off. I suppose it's preventative maintenance. My truck is an early build '04. I'm installing the new Garret powermax and some 190cc injectors in the next month. I thought it would be good to somehow test the hpop, icp and any other systems before the upgrades. Also thought if there where readings I should be noting for a bench mark before the upgrades.

lol ok Cheezit! If it ain't broke, don't fix it

I was noticing some fluctuations with mileage and thought mb that was from the ICP. And sometimes a rough idle from start. But nothing to bad. I do park backwards in my driveway nose down, so maybe that does something?
