I hope the impact didn't over stress the threads on the studs. I suggest that you check the torque several times over the next few weeks. A wheel coming off or loose can ruin your whole day.

Was an electric impact, torque is about 80-90 foot pounds.
Lugs need to be 100 footpounds (plus 1/4 turn).
I made sure to watch the back of the stud and stopped as soon as the head hit the axle flange.
But yes, these studs and nuts are an issue on these vehicles.
I'm wondering if the Ford recall (mine's a 1997) would make the dealership change the studs for you.
