Tear down & Wiring Question

I have the truck tore down all the way to the frame, all parts but fram have been sandblasted but the frame. Pull the 223 and trans out this weekend and finished pulling the misc parts off.

Good golly, it will take for ever to put this back together.

Also ordered my 302 330hp crate engine, new front end kit and new AOD transmission. Rearend is a 3.89 9" does that seem alright?

Does anyone know a body assembly manual for a 64 ford?

What kind or kit should a person purchase to rewire his 64 F100. I have purchased a new wiring harness from ezwire. But I have only a few conectors. Will a headlight and wiper switch from say American Wiring work?

Thanks for any help.

The AOD will like those rear gears. It will really hop and still have around a 3.0 final in fourth gear. Make sure your AOD is upgraded to handle the upgrade in HP and torque. And you set it up correctly with pressure as it will burn up faster than tissue paper if not set correctly.

Remove the old bell housing cross member as it is no longer necessary.

Body assembly manuals or shop manuals are available on e bay or through supporting vendors.

Your EZ wire kit will work with any aftermarket switch, or a later ford switch with insulated stakon connectors. As to a painless kit? I cant see paying all that money for something that still needs to be adapted as they are all GM connections.

Yeah aod's can fry, it should be ok with alto red clutches, a kevlar o.d. band and I would use a 2500 rpm lockup converter.
