electrical gremlins
I have searched on this all last night and couldn't find anything that helps. My dash lights do not work and my running lights for taillights do not work. I can not get my fog lights to turn on either. This all just started last night. All of the dummy lights and gauges work fine as do my blinkers, brake lights and headlights. All fuses are fine and I have removed the dashboard and fuse box and I can not see anything out of line visually. What am I missing guys? Thanks!

Well after further inspection the wire going into the "EXTERIOR LIGHT" fuse had pulled up from the connector at the back of the fuse box. Why that fuse would also knock out the dash lights I don't know but it all appears to be back to normal. I guess a more careful initial inspection would have kept me from wasting a post.

I don't consider it a wasted post. I consider it very valuable information.
It would be my best guess that that particular wire feeds a relay of some kind that operates (obviously) a lot of lights.
That's a heckuva find. Electrical gremlins are usually very painful and time consuming.
