This is a continuation of my old thread. It has been about three weeks now and I still can not get my truck running. I had checked all the obvious no start issues before posting the first time and I have now put a lot of time/money into it.
I have changed the IPR, CPS, HPOP to a new 17* pump, IDM, and PCM. The truck spins over fast as can be and the tach moves but no smoke comes out of the tailpipe. I put a gauge on the block and I am getting low pressure oil when it cranks but I am not reading ANY high pressure oil off the rails with a mechanical gauge.
The day this happened I woke up and the truck started like normal but then cut off instantly after about 5 seconds of being started. Cranked again and it fired up after a little hesitation. I drove home, about 30 min, and the truck drove fine the whole time. Was at my house for about an hour, went to leave and absolutely nothing. Would just crank over forever.
I do not know what else to look at or change. Any ideas appreciated.
Luckily I only had to buy the CPS and HPOP. My buddy has my exact truck that runs great, We put his IDM, PCM, and IPR in my truck and still no start. Put my same parts in his truck and his fired right up.
For the fuel pressure... I have an electric fuel pump on a switch and a gauge under the hood. The guage on my FPR reads 72psi. About two weeks before the no start I turned my pump on but it would not build pressure, the pump was running, I know because it is loud as hell lol but it just would not build pressure. You could hear a loud hiss inside the passenger head, sounded like air. Not sure if this is related though because after about 5 minutes it built up pressure and ran fine until it died two weeks later.
Have you had the injectors out lately? If you're reading no high pressure oil, it's time to block off one HPOP line and stick your gauge in the other head and read pressure with each head isolated. (assuming you've already verified the new IPR is working properly).

Have not pulled the injectors. I put in stage ones about 20k miles ago but I guess the o-rings could be shot. I will try to isolate the heads and see if one has a problem. Thanks! I'll post the results after I do that.
Hook you HPOP gauge to one line comign from teh HPOP and block off the other port. Crank and see what it reads. If it goes to 3800 psi, then run a line to one head and repeat. Then run that same line (or at least the same port and keep the gauge where it is) to the other head and repeat.
If it's a HPOP issue you will not get 3800 psi (or so) at the pump or one of the heads. That should help narrow it down at least.

Sorry it took awhile to re-post but I just went through a move and got my internet turned on at the new house. I pulled one of the oil galley plugs on the passenger head and there was no oil in it so I decided to pull the injectors. Three of the injectors on the passenger head were starting to crack through and one injector was completely missing an o-ring. I went ahead and did new international o-rings on all 8 injectors. Stay away from Dipaco o-rings! They only had 20k miles on them.
