iam in the process of swapping a powerstroke into my 92 f350. i got the truck with dual exhaust and wont need it anymore. if anybody wants it come get it for free, just let me know before i cut it up. its in a crew cab long bed.
i still have the tranny, i havent decided what to do with it yet. the swap was because i wanted a crew cab powerstroke ( got tired of my 97 ext cab) basically making one truck out of 2.
not too bad, i just got the in cab wiring done the other day. the engine and tranny are gonna bolt right in and the under hood wiring is just one big peice, so that will be easy also. the dash wiring from the 97 fit nicely with the chassis wiring on the 92 (tail lights, fuel selector/gauge,etc...) i do have to extend some of it to reach the back of the cab for speakers, 3rd brakelight. iam gonna add a dome/map light for the back seat while i have the headliner down. ive been posting some of this in the general diesel forum here because there is another guy (midwest dually)doing a 2wd to 4wd, gas to diesel conversion.
thats great. cant wait to get some pics man. and ya, helps that you share a dash with the psd version. and i got a second map light to add to the back seat as well. i thought id be the only one to have done it lol....
my buddy has a 97 CC, and it came with a rear map light. the dash wiring would have been easier if they were the same color i could have just swapped the whole thing, but i ended up having to change all the wiring and the a/c controls were a little differnt. i had to change the cover on the heater core for the blend door control. here ya go.. future powerstroke..

i dont know man, that 97 would have looked good with a lil idi in there! nice color combination. picture your 94, lifted 10" wiht 46's and thats what im goin for lol.
i dont have a dually yet, its srw. and the 46's will be on soon enough. just ordered the lift kit today so when that gets in ill throw it on then get the tires all mounted and balanced. 200 just to get them mounted and 150 to get them balanced.
