needing MUD/AT tire advice
I have a 2000 F250 4x4 S.D. I currently have B.F. Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A 285/70/R17 on it & "I need new tires", These tires are a llitle to wide because they rub on inside when I turn tight. I'd like a taller tire i do not have any lift kits on the Truck. What would recomend, I bow hunt & Spring turkey hunt, lots of mud & downs branches so max side wall is importarnt to me, truck "I should have E rated tires". I know you can't find long life, Mud, good fuel & quiet all in 1 tire, but being stuck is not fun! Thanks for any input on Tire types.

I would suggest the BFG MT/KM2 in 255/80/17E. It's basically a 33.3x10x17E. It'll be only slightly taller than what you have now (33.3" versus 33"), but it'll be about 1" - 1.5" narrower. It'll be a pizza cutter, but I personally think pizza cutters do better in about 90% of the situations (just my opinion of course).
