I have a 1993 F-250 with the factory towing package. I want to install a brake controller for added safety when towing the travel trailer. I have found a gray plastic connection under the dash with red, white, blue and gree wires running to it. I'm assuming this is the connector. Does anyone have a schematic on how to get power from the fuse box to the controller? I am thinking that all the wiring is in back at the rear of the truck because there is a factory 7 prong plug on the rear bumper. I will be installing a Prodogy 3 controller and would appreciate any help.
Thanks guys. That is good news. This truck has every option known to man and the wireing is unbelievable. I just don't want to do something stupid and watch my truck go up in smoke. I did that 40 years ago with my 1960 Ford pickup.
Hello Everyone I have a 2008 F250 and have recently bought a Tekonsha P3 brake controller. Can anyone tell me what where on the dash is the best place to mount this controller? Thank you John
