Just about everyone sells that overhead gauge pod, most people just automaically get the A-pillar one. I don't like the A-pillar mount, it makes the truck look too much like a race car. Why would I want a $52,000 truck to look like a race car? It mounts with 3M dual lock fasteners...I recommend buying extra fastener because they don't give you much to start with.

Here's Summits ad...but please use a sponsor here...this economy calls for it!

Thank you! I am the same way even with my cars of not wanting to have gauges on the pillar or on the hood or dash. I had thoughts of even pulling out my stock trans temp gauge in the cluster and replacing it with a real gauge but still use the stock needle and sweep.

My "summer mods" took all summer to finally get to. (and I'm still not done)
so far I've done:
  • Regeared rear axle to 4:10 (still need to swap front axle, hopefully this weekend)
  • Installed JW valve body in transmission & exchanged all fluid for RED LINE synthetic.
  • Installed PHP FU chip and tunes!

Still need to do:
  • front axle (said that already)
  • jimmy jammers on door handles - deleting keyed handles up front too
  • xenon fender flares
  • onboard air & rear airbags
and on and on and on....
