Problems, now that's a long story. I had an F250 4x4 cc 6.0 diesel 2003 and had problem out the *** the first year(03) to the tune of $12000 warranty work but after that all things good til this June when the ICP sensor leaked oil the day before vacation was to start and it was $1500 to fix and no vacation last straw traded for new 2011 F250 cc 6.2 gas 4x4. That was on 8-21-10 . Truck(2011) drove good on drive so I decided to take it. Well just before signing the paper I found the front bumper by the tow hook had small amount of yellow paint from a factory pole and small dent. Not a deal breaker so the dealer would put a new one on. Same time found the back of the arm rest had 2 small pen hole tears the dealer sent Ford mo co a picture and they denied the claim. Again I know this was done in the factory(I work at Ford) because of the way it was done. Then the spare tire next to the frame underneth the truck started to rub a hole in it. Dealer replaced. The fix is to put four small pieces of foam between the tire and frame, did this on last truck. Ford again didn't want to spend the .20 for the easy fix. Well just when I thought I could start to enjoy my new truck was looking at the drive shaft and the trans case area and found that the rubber boot around the driveshaft was already rotting and falling apart. The 6.2 motors have the exhaust muffler right by the area and alot of heat comes off of it . There is no heat shield for protection, again to save money or over site who knows? Now will have them fix this. GETTING DAMN TIRE OF THIS SO CALLED QUALITY PRODUCTS FORD CLAIMS THEY HAVE NEEDING FIXED AGAIN AND AGAIN.Sorry for the rant but if I didn't work there I would not buy another one but hey all the auto manufactures talk the big quality talk now days and lie out there ***. Will be contacting Ford in Detroit very soon. They will remember me from before I am sure........

Reason: spelling
You obviously are very angry. Just a couple things to consider: Two rules of life; 1. Don't sweat the small stuff, and 2. It's ALL small stuff. This will help you avoid stress and live longer.
Also, you catch more flies with sugar than with vinegar.
It'll all work out! Good luck!
Also, you catch more flies with sugar than with vinegar.
Ever tried that? put out a bowl of sugar and a bowl of vinegar, see which one catches more flies...(although it doesn't hurt a bit if you add a little honey to the vinegar)
Probably not a good idea to bash your employer on an open forum. That said, it doesn't sound like these are major issues. If the boot is in fact "rotting off" I'm confident it's something that could be handled by your local dealers' service manager, and escalated to Ford as necessary.
I can understand being upset about spending so much money on a new truck, and having anything go wrong with it. Heck, the majority of your concerns with the 2011 seem to be so minor, I'm not sure I'd even take them to the dealer (boot issue excluded)
Good luck with Ford, but need to take a step back for a minute.
Also keep in mind that you are one of the early adopters of the truck. It is because of these little issues that they will work out the kinks for future trucks. This is true for this truck and you old 03. Just something to think about.
I've never owned any vehicle that was perfect out of the box. I am sure they would like to know the issues you found for QA purposes but they are not going to listen with a shotgun to their head.
Thanks for the replies, a little calmer now. As for trucks perfect out of the box I owned a 1993 Bronco and 1999 f-150 4x4 sc and never had a dealer warranty item except the 1999 had an extended warr. the rotor on the brake warpped at 75000 miles.
