heater core
I'm thinking about buying an 2000-2002 Explorer 4x4 but as I understand it, the dash must be removed to replace the heater core. Is this true? I had a Blazer once and the dash had to be removed to replace the core, I don't want to do that again. Thanks.

Often heater cores are replaced cause they leak due to high coolant tempratures and pressure caused by a blown head gasket (combustion chamber to water jacket leak)
