Hey guys,

My darn visor on my truck is leaking again, going to pull it off this weekend and re-attack it.

Thinking of using 100% silicon... thoughts? any other suggestions?

Maybe RV putty tape might work better? Most hardware stores that have an RV/mobile home section have it. USH PUTTY TAPE 1/8 x 3/4 x 30 R-010B US HARDWARE

 

Stop at a glass shop & have them put a dab of window grade urethane around the holes ,then install it ..

 

well, after all that it wasn't even the visor that was leaking... had a reputable glass place replace the windshield a year ago and it would appear that the leak is coming from the top seal. At least they back there work, so they will be fixing it for free.

Now I need to take the visor off again... great
