Should be the same, I don't think there were variations in bell housing/flywheels for the I6 after ~1972 - at least not teeth or diameter wise. Worst case take it to NAPA and compare it to a newer one.

The M5OD used in the half tons. It was the light duty 5spd, and there are a lot more half tons with 300s than 3/4 and 1 tons.

Yep, so far all the flywheels, clutches and pressure plate on the later ones are the same. The only differences in any of them that I've seen are the throwout bearings (std fork on older, hydraulic on later).
