Just the other day my 7.3L X started up with a louder than normal clacking idle....sounds like a old Dodge Cummins from 5 miles away (Lord forgive me!).....anyway, after driving a half-mile with it sounding this way, the engine just quits. I restart, then everything is just fine....sounds fine, acts normal. I get to work....it sits for a few hours.....same thing. This cycle is repeated all week. I took it to the local shop and the following codes were pulled: P1209, 1282, P1211. FYI, the CPS was replaced as per recall back in 2008. Any ideas where to start first? Thanks.
