Laptop diagnostics
I have a buddy who has a diagnostic program for his Dodge and all he does is hook up an adapter to the CPU and then fires up his Dell laptop. He can change his fuel mapping, check codes, etc. Where would I be able to find one for my truck (2003 F250 7.3l) or do they exist. One would think so with all of the technology the new laptops have but...who knows?

It sounds like he has more than a diagnostic program if he can change fueling. Personally, I leave tuning to my tuner, but alot of us do us diag software. Most use Auto Enginuity since it is easy and doesn't clean out the wallet for what you get. Are you having any issues you need to look at or just want to be prepared?

Just be Prepared. If I pop a code, I'd like to know what it is without having to ask my bro, cause his EVIL #$@*& wife complains and once she starts you just wanna shoot her.

So, help me out please. If I were to order this AE, I would order the PC based scan tool and then order the Enhanced Ford Expansion?
I'm also getting ready to blow VISTA out the fricking door and install 7. Will it still work. I'll try giving them a call later this week when my boss ain't around to bug me.
