2001 Ranger Electrical Problems

I have an '01 Ranger 4.0, 5spd, with the Off Road package with 3 distinct electrical issues. One is the cruise, just quit working about a week ago for the first time since I bought it in '04. Also the air bag light flashes for a couple of seconds then stays on permently. The third is the rear passenger blinker. It will work sometimes as soon as I start the truck but if I turn it off and try to reuse it it doesn't. The bulb is good and there is no fuses that seem to be bad on any of these components. I'm an electrical idiot so any hints or help would be great, thanks in advance fella's.

Check to make sure your truck is or isn't including in the cruise control recall. My 01 was.

Check fuses, check for shorts.

That truck was included in the recall

My 2000 Taurus had the same air bag light problem. Solution? Took it to dealer for a sensor replacement. If the light is on, you have a non-functioning air bag system.
