COP Help/Replacing Spark Plugs
I am trying to change my spark plugs for the first time on my 2003 Lincoln Navigator and I am having a hard time getting the COP out. Any ideas on how to do this?

Which cylinder number? Ford engines are 1-4 on pass side, 5-8 on driver's side. 1 & 5 are the two cylinders closest to the radiator, 4 & 8 are nearest the firewall.

Can we assume you took out the COP hold-down bolt? If so, grab the COP and twist it back and forth to break it's hold on the spark plug.
If it's a clearance issue you're having you might have to move the fuel rail out of the way.

There is no hold down bolt on the navigatprs COP.
