Master Cylinder issues

I added more fluid to my master cylinder to see if it would firm up the brakes... it now makes a bubbling sound in the cab, and procedes to spew brake fluid from the front of the master cylinder...

is this master cylinder failure? or a clogged line or something?

What do you mean, spew from the front of the master cylinder? Is this with the cap off?
If it shoots a stream straight up with the cap off when you hit the brake pedal, this is normal.
Is it power brakes?

i cant see it from the cab where i am pumping the breaks... but its with the cap on, secured... the front side of the master cylinder, more so the side with the lines going out... just gets coated after pumping the brakes several times. its enough to where its making it to the ground. the total overall amount of the brake fluid goes down little by little.

i checked in the cab by the linkage, and the rubber boot there is all intact and looks good with no obvious signs of fluid entry towards the cab.

i dont really know enough to say if its power brakes, but i only have a master cylinder, no booster... i really dont see any lines coming into the master cylinder so i would assume that this is non-power brakes

Look very closely at the two steel lines that come out of the master cylinder. It sounds like you may have a leak. It could be either a loose fitting or a small pin hole in the line itself. Do the lines look rusty and scaley? Look real close.
They other possibility is the gasket on the m/c cover is leaking.
With no booster you have manual brakes.

lines look like they're covered in oil residue... old gunky buildup... i guess ill look with that tomorrow.

would a pin sized leak allow the brake system to not build up any pressure... at all? i would think with a tiny hole, it would still build a little pressure but i dont know i guess?

No, ANY hole, pin size or not will keep the brakes from functioning correctly.
