Been reading about gauges on here, considering how I need to get going finally on this issue...geez, 100,000 miles later! I am surprised that it seems like no company has put together a comprehensive 6.0 set of gauges. As I understand it, you need separate gauges for fuel pressure and boost (no boost gauge on '03s), and you can add EGT probes to most of the gauges people like.
So a non-tech guy like me will have to piece something together that may not look that great. Or is there a "best scenario" approach to this problem? If my facts and understanding of this are not correct, let me know. Thanks for any advice or help.
I am sure there are factions that like one gauge or the other, I am more curious about the issue of why there does not seem to be an all-in-one item out there, must not be enough market to justify it.
You can look into the Edge Insight multi-gauge, you will need the optional EGT probe and also a separate fuel pressure gauge.
PS: Looking at you signature you have an 03. Volts is not supported through your OBD11 port on the 03's so you would also need a volt gauge.
The Edge Insight plugs into the OBD11 port. Edge Products Insight Multi-Gauge Display
IIRC there are 3 things that can't be read through the OBDII port: engine oil pressure, fuel pressure, and EGT's. I'm not sure why volts can't be read since you should be getting some kind of voltage to power the Edge??? I know that on the Dash Daq volts is listed under generic OBDII codes whereas the "important" things can only be read through Ford "specific" monitors however they can be displayed on the same screen.
I believe that you can get a "comprehensive" package but you still have to add the above listed 3 sensors separately with any display that you order.

I was told volt's are not supported on the 03's. I called edge when I first received mine and was also told the same thing. They are a few others in this site also with 03's and have the Insight who I spoke with and they also cannot display volt's. It's listed as mod volt's on the insight but will not work..I know a simple thing like volts' is not supported. Go Figure..It's got me...Anyhow I now have a volt meter...
