a few months ago i replaced my 180 watt Sharp surround system with a 500 watt KLH 5.1 system......WOW! it has 5 tiny speakers that i mounted high in the corners of the room and one on the wall behind the tv as a center channel. it also has a 150 watt front-fireing 10" sub-woofer that shakes my whole house!
i waited months to hear "crank it up!" during a race. ive never been to a race but with the volume at 40 (60 is max) i swear it was like being there! the floor and just about everything in my living room was shaking!
hated the way it ended though. nothing against MW, i just hate a shortened race.

We have a 65" screen tv with a Bose surround sound system. So we hear (as wildjon300ci says)"...boogety boogety bogety AGAIN!" and the house starts shackin lol.
I didn' t care for the race ending as it did either. Nothing against Micke Waldrip just wanted it to go the 500 as it shoulda.

Ya know, I don't like it when Nascar does everything they can to make sure they get to the 1/2 way point, but to stop the 1st race of the season - especially since they have night lights now!!!! I'm sure glad we gave up our season tickets. I like the Homestead track's set-up better anyway.

Fox sure beats the hell out of CBS/ABC/NBC or anybody else that trys to cover a NASCAR event, The enthusiam that FOX brings along with their camera angles (the shots of Ryan as his AllTel car destroyed itself) are simply in a league of their own.
I'll take DW anyday for a sportscaster. I hate it when Fox loses the rights to boadcast at midseason.

right now my tv isnt hooked up to my stereo but my stereo can rattle my neibours windows. i have 2 10" 600 W subs (for my truck) and 2 100W JVC speakers hooekd up to a Teaq EQ and JVC system. man those subs really enhaunce sound and they can pound

I have this little character flaw, makes me care what other people think. Some might call it being considerate of others. It's the way I was raised I guess.
I listen at a level that I can hear it, but anyone that doesn't want to doesn't have to. Other peoples loud music and televisions is one of my biggest peeves and one of the biggest reasons I can't wait to get a house and get out of my dang apartment. It shows a complete lack of respect for everyone around you.
I may sound like an old codger, but that's just how I feel about it.

I don't like to hear other peoples music either but the race is just so important to me even if I don't like the way NASCAR runs the races with everybody running basically the same engine.
