I'll be honest, it's a bit overwelming. Everytime I go out to my garage, I'm not sure what I should tackle.
I think my plan is going to be pull out the old engine/tranny/rear and put in either a dana 60 or a ford 9". I have not decided if I want to stick with the 8 lug or go down to a 5. If I do a 5, then I'll be swapping out the front axles as well. Then I'll probably be dropping in a bigger engine/tranny combo. Still not sure what I'm going to do there either. I have a buddy trying to convince me to go big block, but I might just stick with a 351w.

It all really depends on what you want to do with the truck, thats the first thing you should decide on. Once you do that then you will have an idea of which way you want to go with it...
