Radiator pet **ck

Please tell me that the radiator drain valve is replaceable...i just broke mine off, part os it is left up inside housing and its not leaking i think fairly tight up in there so im not worried bout it leaking but need to replace it...it appears that it is like just a simple plastic plug that screws into the housing of the radiator. Could someone tell me which part # this is...o and by the way...boy that valve is cheasy!

Auto Zone and O'Reilly's sells replacements. You may have to take the old one to match them up.

its available from ford. not an issue.
to remove the old one all you have to do is use an allen wrench. normally that works well.

been there done that.

Hey guy's will this radiator drain plug work??? I don't wanna pull my old one out that only a piece is left of and put this one in and find that it doesnt fit! Please advise as to which of you all have used this.

Same thing happened to me on friday, got a new one from the dealership, jammed the knife from my mini leatherman on my keychain into the old one and unscrewed it..no problem.

Anyone have the Ford part# for this plastic drain plug?
I attempted to do a coolant flush yesterday and cracked it right off....no leaks yet.
I'm gonna wait to get a replacement before try it again.

Hey brother, check this out: ZZL0-15-203. I think that's the Ford part number. Dorman has them too:260924 or 61127. Check them out. That's what I found looking for the 6.0 Excursion.
