LSD common or rare??

Well, when I'm on the highway with my Mustang, and I floor the throttle, both tires go up in smoke, but the car stays nice and straight, which is good when you're going 50 mph, so I like the locker in there.

p.s. those tru-trac diffs are under 400 bucks.. that isn't too bad! With the motor weighing in at 1000 lbs, I'm thinking the traction up front is especially important on my truck. I might install one of those units in the D44 soon.

yeah the detroit tru-tracs are very very nice units. we put one in a buddies...*cough chevy, C10 with 4:11 gears and a warmed up 350. we added line locks for fun and that rear diff can take one hell of a beating. it uses a helical gear with no clutches. handles way more power than a conventional lsd. if my lsd goes out in the back of my bronco im switching over to the tru-trac unit. i plan on running larger tires and a lift but i try to stay out of the deep mud. so it should give me no issues.
