Also, you don't need to be afraid of drum brakes, they're really quite simple and you have a good guide to go by using the opposite side as a visual aid, just do one side at a time and if you get stuck look at the other side.
Remember, the right and left sides are mirror images of each other. If you think in terms of right and left it's easy to get confused because whats on the right on one side will be on the left on the opposite side. Its easier to think in terms of front and back. If something is to the front of the vehicle on one side it will also be to the front on the opposite side.
Here's a picture of the right side, the adjuster is the "tubular" link at the bottom connecting the two shoes.
