94 bronco temp sensor

Question 94 bronco temp sensor

hey guys i really need some help finding the location of the sensor. my truck was acting up and i took it to autozone and they hooked it up to the scanner and said it was the coolant temp sensor so i bought the part but i can not find where the darn thing goes... it is not the one for the guage, its the other one.
please help

Someone on here has pictures, try doing a search.. but it's near the coolant temp sensor but on the thermostat housing, I think the other is on the intake? There are two similer sensors, the ACT which is on the back of the intake, and the ECT

Yea its on the top of the intake manifold. Front drivers side when looking at the engine

The ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor is located near the thermostat at the front of the engine. The ACT (Air Charge Temperature) sensor is located in the lower intake manifold between the 1st and 2nd fuel injectors (driver's side). This only applies to the 5.0 and 5.8 V8's. (But since they were the only engines available in 94 that should cover it).
