well, today is a day I have been waiting for for several months. Just got most of my 72 XLT in primer. Still have to finish the bed and a couple other spots, wet sand and then we're ready for paint.
truck was originally Wind Blue/Wimbledon White - as in my avatar. Think I'm going with Bahama Blue/Wimbledon White - but may reverse colors where blue is in the middle.
Still kinda undecided but have to make up my mind soon.
it cost me 20,000 to make mine as perfect as i could . but she,s a good looking gal now.
HA - I can believe that. I'm at about $10,000 right now and it was a pretty solid truck to begin with. But - that's part of the game with old cars. You wind up with $20,000 in a $10,000 vehicle. Saw an unbelievable streetrod go thru BJ - owner/builder had $500,000 in cost - sold for $175,000. ouch
