I have a 89 f150 4x4 4.9 i6 with a standard trans. I put a Flow master 40 or 70, not real sure, single in and out and it has a tip on it. I know there isn't much you can do to make it sound deep and loud. What is the best thing to put on there? Will single in duel out help? Will high flow cats make much of a difference? Will it make much of difference in performance if I do any of that?

Check the part number on the muffler. There's a pretty good differece on sound between certain series.... And I wouldn't spend money on dual tailpipe unless you want the look.
