slow tow

Going to look at a 03 7.3 w/97k tomarrow. Got the truck buyer list, thanks. Might be saying buy to my slow tow v10. Carfax report said the engine was pulled and a injector pump was replaced, any thoughts? Wish me luck.

What are they calling an injector pump and why was the engine pulled ?

report shows accident reported 2mos prior. motor pulled for repair, injector pump nozzel replaced, fule pressure check etc...

7.3's don't have injector pumps they a fuel pump , and a high oil pressure pump , And if the truck was hit hard enough for the engine to be removed for repairs be REAL CAREFULL.

Say bye bye to slow tow, hellow go tow. Didn't get the 7.3; ended up w/06, 6.0 w/94k & a clean bill of health. Got the extra warrenty since I don't know much about them; yet. Thanks for the advice too. Sorry gassers. Haven driven and towed w/the v10 & the diesel, I can say diesel wins hands down w/stock equip (Even w/upgrades). If I was lucky enough to buy a lemon (which I usually am) I will still buy another diesel. Hope I'm not on here asking how to fix stuff for a long time.
