Getting some opinions

ABout a month or so ago my truck would hesitate every so often. No set pattern or like circumstances. I put it on a good scan tool and it had no codes stored. The very day that I put it on the scan tool it died on the way home. I hopped out and replaced the CPS and that wasnt the problem. Towed it home, which was only a 1/2 mile and monkeyd with it for a bit. Unplugged the ICP for chits and giggles and it started up and ran for a little. I had a buddy under the hood that plugged it back in real quick and it kept running. The truck has ran fine until yesterday when it acted up again. Same thing basically. It hesitated for a second and picked up and went on. Think the ICP is the problem? ANybody got the right part number?

Yeah Jim, the IH dealer is a whole lot cheaper than my local ford dealer.
The ICP is on the driverside head. If you get up and look down its about 2:00 from the HPOP. Has a couple wires going to it.
Anything special I should be aware of when changing this out or is it cut and dry. Screw it out and pop the new one in?

If you unplug the ICP and it runs fine doesn't that mean the IPR is sticking?

I had unplugged it and the truck started but it didn't run great, but it ran. Plugged it back up and the truck started and has ran good since, so I don't know.......

But what about my kids, Ed?

What if I'm broke down on the side of the road in the morning and cant make it to work, their not going to be eating.....

Oh wait I dont have any kids....

What if while I'm broke down I get kidnapped by band of outlaws?

Oh wait, I've got protection under the console....

What if I'm late for work for the 6th time this week and I lose my job? Whats gonna happen when they come take my brand new home that I've only been in for two weeks? Oh yeah and you guessed it, the PSD would be next.....

What if I end up on the street? What if I end up having issues with drugs and alcohol?

Ah man Ed! Its a vicious cycle, man! Its a rollercoaster ride you dont wanna be on! You dont wanna go down that route!

Got a lil OT there, but I'm back now. The wife brought the meds and everything is nice and sunny again Toon Town

I did go back and fix my post to include LOCAL ford dealer for ya buddy, just so nobody would get the wrong idea.
But I know these guys already know.
