On dash,, or column
I know,, i bet you guys are saying "damn that guy ask alot of questions"... sorry,, but i told you i loved this site..
so all the goodies that we have,,,programers,, tuners,, gps,, ,, where do you guys put them all, are there any pro and cons on the column,, which holds the best,, etc..

I recently spent some time deciding where to mount my newly purchased DashDAQ and I've decided that there are pros and cons to every location. I personally don't like the dash or windshield mounting because of the visibility obstruction. In the end I decided to mount the DashDAQ to the console. The major drawback to this location is that you have to take your eyes off the road to look at the unit, however in my case I don't intend to be looking at it that often since I have alarms set-up to alert me if the monitored parameters are out of tolerance.
