Was it a fresh build or did you rebuild it? Here's an old pic of mine while I was prepping it to fit the trans x-member.

Do you have head flow numbers? I thought Dan had a fairly large bit of data that he used to fill in the different variables.

Does it require intake runner demension info or does it list 'known' intakes for you to choose? I want an estimate for a possible 408ci build that is similar to mine but different cam and mild 4V heads...oh, and 2 possible header sizes. Curious as to what it might make.

It has known intakes, yeah there are different header sizes, and I have several steppings in 4v heads depending on the level of porting.

I have a buddy wanting to build a similar 400 as mine but with a different flat tappet hydro cam. Intake is a 351C Torker with the PME spacers which add about an inch to the runner length. He has a 1" carb spacer and a 2" carb spacer he want to try. Headers are 1-7/8 with 3.5" collectors identical to mine except mine are 2" primary. Carb is a Demon 850VS like mine and the heads are mildly ported closed chamber 4V's. No flow numbers but all that was done was a 3 angle valve job and bowl blending with a littl clean up on the short side radius. Rocker arms are 1.7 cam is as follows:

Duration:
I 239 @ .050
E 247 @ .050

I 296 @ seat
E 304 @ seat

Lift:
I .585
E .609

LSA: 106°

Events @ .050
I open 13.5°
I close 45.5°

E open 57.5°
E close 9.5°

Oops, guess you need that. Pistons have a -18cc reverse dome like mine and are .030 over for 408ci. Heads are were stock 1970 closed chamber 4V's off a M-code 351C and except for the light bowl work and a .010 skim to make sure these were flat and not warped, there was no other chamber work...so your guess is as good as mine but I'll say 60-61cc. Compression ratio should be in the 11:1 range as that is where mine is....but my rods aren't stock and his will be. Deck height is 10.285" and he is building the motor to be zero deck....not sure what his compression distance is on the pistons nor do I know his final rod length but the deck height is set so a little math would put the compression height at about 1.705" with a resized factory rod of 6.58" and a zero deck.

BTW, also try calculating this with a 10.3:1 compression with the piston .03" down in the hole...that way I can give him some extra numbers.
