Arrow TorqShift mods?

Anyone do or have mod recommendations for the 5R110? Got a Mag-Hytech deep pan for it but that's it. As I continue to add power mods to my 6.0 would like to make the tranny just as reliable. Would an upgraded torque converter be beneficial or should I spend my money on something else?

What are you using to add power to your 6.0 and how much are you planning on adding to your 6.0?

Well it depends. It depends on how much power you plan on making. What you might find out is that your direct clutch is going to be more of the weak point then your TC. The direct clutch is what gets people more that use off the shelf tuners like Edge, BullyDog etc. The 3-5 shift is perhaps the only weak link that you could say that the Torqshift has. Properly tuned, it can handle quite a bit of extra power. Start to add injectors and/or turbo you are going to need to make it stouter. It just depends on how much power you are adding to it.

I plan on getting a powermax turbo. I am running a tow tune from vmp tuning and the water meth injection. Noticed my tranny got hot (220-225) going up a long 7-8% grade towing about 15K. Was keeping egts at about 1300 with water injection at about 45mph and over 2700-3000 rpms.

I been thinking about getting a tow tune from either Eric or Matt to see it makes a difference but that 5 mile long grade is a tough tow.

Checked out their rebuilt kit and the part number is for an 08. I give them a call and see if the cluth packs work for an 05.

Did see a shift kit for the 03-07 for fifty something. Not exactly sure what the shift could would do though. If it increased line pressure that would be good.

P.S. I plan on running about 475- 500 rwhp once I get some sticks and the powermax with Matt's tunes. Will probably have to upgrade tranny.

Wish list:
Powermax Turbo
Banks intercooler
gogo diesel machined manifold with egr delete
Fuel return
8 port upgraded 175-190 injectors
Suncoast tranny kit
ATS torque converter
