scan guage will do that IF you get the add on thing for it. Otherwise the scan guage can only see what your PCM can see. I am glad you haven't had problems with the Glowshifts yet, but like you said i would keep a very close eye on them.
Glad you like it.. Wait till you get custom tunes though. It gets better. Don't get too wild with those TS tunes since you don't have any guages to keep an eye on EGTs. If EGTs get over 1200* for too long you will be replacing the engine..
Might be able to do that sometime. What are they? They come with wiring and the probe for the pyro? No need for the RPM guage either.. Got any pics of them maybe?
just some old gauges. they dont have wiring but i can buy some along with a probe. and i know the rpm gauge would be pointless but its a 3 gauge pod and id rather they all work and yeah you got a email or something?
When you get enough posts to be able to PM then PM me and i will give you my email. I'm on this forum more often than i check my email though. If they are just old guages then see what it's going to cost you to get the wiring and pyro probe. Wonder which guages they are though. If they are like my old style ISSPROs i don't know that I'd mess with them b/c they might be hard to come across the probe and everything for them. How much money do you have to spend and how much are those guages you found?? I bet Clay at Riff Raff can hook you up on a ISSPRO boost and pyro kit..
getting my truck lisced soon but front end needs to be fixed to be a safe driver. should i repair the stock front end or get D60? not sure what all the stock one needs yet. probably alot.
Honestly there isn't a lot to the TTB front end, just bushings and stuff. What about it needs to be fixed? whats it doing?? A D60 swap is a pretty good little project to take on if you don't know what your doing
I haven't really looked at it. Its pretty loose. I've been told it needs ties rods, bushings, etc. I think I'm just going to fix this front end. Also where could I get good traction bars?
And another thing is I was worried about my tranny because its hard to get in reverse sometimes and grinds. So I got my PDP friend to check it out.he said the tranny seems good. I was told what caused it awhile back. I forgot though. What causes that and would the whole tranny have to be rebulit or just that one part?

When you go to put it in reverse do this.. Put the truck in first gear, then go straight from first gear over to reverse. If you do that everytime and it doesn't grind at all then the problem is probably the reverse syncronizer. If it still grinds it's probably a messed up shift fork or the clutch isn't releasing enough. Check the bushing on the clutch arm under the dash. If it's worn too much it can cause problems getting it into gear.
