Yesterday I reversed my '93 F150 4x4 w/ auto trans down my driveway which was fine but going back up truck wouldn't move in drive. It felt like the brakes were applied , which they weren't. Ilifted the back and both tires spun freely.I reversed down again and had the same problem. But by
shifting from D to either 2 or L it made it up normally. I also jacked it up again and with the rear tires off the ground I shifted it through all the gears and the wheels spun accordingly.
i put it in park and could spin the back wheels by hand. Is this normal??
By the way the trans is an E40D. I guess some tings wrong with the trans.
Any suggestions short of replacing the trans would be greatly appreciated (finances extremely short) Maybe something electrical etc.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cal
