Hello everyone, maybe some one can shed some light on my problem before I take it to the shop.
I have a 2001 Ford F350 4x4 dualley with the 7.3 Powerstroke, am unsure what model the transmission is. Went on a 5 day trip pulling my 26 foot pull toyhauler, I always use the overdrive lockout when pulling. Got home and was putting my toyhauler back in its resting spot by my house. I was in reverse stoped the truck and placed it into drive, it did not move so I gave it a lilltle gas thinking I was in a hole, it clunked into drive and moved forward, repositioned my trailer and I placed it back into reverse to move the toyhauler back into position. Went to place the truck back into drive and nothing, it acted like it was in neutral. Placed truck into low and 2nd with the same affect. Placed truck into 4 low and 4 high still with the same affect. Check the fluid and the level was correct, was bright red and did not smell burned. I checked the truck when it was cold and still the same affect. I thought there might be a module or cylinoid I could check, if not what gives? Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you in advance.

Yes I checked the fluid and it is bright red and full. I had my next door neighbor shift the truck and I was under the truck watching it shift with no problems. Thanks for all your posts and guess it will have to go into the shop for repairs. Thanks agian
