What are these hoses?

Figured it out. The "cap" I was talking about was a breather-plug-thing that I didn't know I had. The old hose was buried in a pile of tools behind my seat. Found it, got a new hose (the guy at O'Reilly's has seen me so often he just gave me the new hose) and now it's all fixed. Thanks for the help fellas.
