I am sure there is some horsepower to be gained by live tuning, but the main reason I recommend doing it is efficiency and drivability. It gives you a chance to have your shifting, throttle response, and how the power comes on tailored to your needs and specific truck. I have also seen a repeated gain in mileage after live tuning, and less smoke.

Ditto. If you have a chip already, live tuning will set the truck for YOUR driving needs. If you dont have a chip yet and get it at live tuning, you will notice a BIG difference.
ive had a DP now for three yrs. Ive done lots of mods including H2E turbo, injetors, double HPOP, new tranny etc. and am only seeing 288 on dyno. Heavy heavy black smoke!! Everyone says get it live tuned and it will work the bugs out. i just want to get my HP where it should be

Jodie will ride in the truck and make changes and give advice as you drive. It is worth it.
We will be in Dillsburg, PA in October for an event the Mason-Dixon TDC puts on every October called Fall Brawl. It's held at SGS automotive. Call us soon. The date has been changed and we are trying to shift people. We can put you on our list.

With all those mods you at LEAST should get your chip re-burned.
No, I have an F5 and was live tuned. According to track times I didn't gain any power (I'm still on stock sticks though, only so much you can do with that) but the driveability and shifting schedules were very much improved. I like a road trip so 12 hours would be worth it to me. And then at the last event he updated my chip from last year and I got 2mpg better on the way back (towing); and less smoke.
